Pre-Cut Pinewood Derby Car Designs

These pre-cut designs give you a head start in building your Pinewood Derby car. The hard cuts have been made. All you need to do is sand and paint the car. You can modify the basic design of the car by rounding corners and trimming.

*** NEW ***

All of our pre-cut cars are also available with the weights pre-installed. The cars will weigh between 4.7 and 5 oz when finished depending on the paint and accessories added. We recommend that you use our Stick-On Weights to fine tune your car's weight to 5 oz.

*** BONUS ***

Our Weighted cars also have precision drilled axle holes next to the standard axle slots. Use the slots or the holes - it's up to you!

I wanted you to know that your pre-cut "Sports Coupe" won our Pack's Pinewood Derby competition.  It was so fast, it should be outlawed!  (Just kidding)  One recommendation would be to inform people that one set of bar weights would be needed per pre-cut car. Luckily another parent gave me some weights as I had 2 cars, and only one set of stick on bar weights.  The "Street Rod" was very fast too.

Wheel vibration will slow your pinewood derby car down. Make sure that the outside of your wheel (the part that touches the track) is as smooth as possible and that your wheel is as round as possible.

 

We came in Second overall and have the track record!!!!  Thank you so much!!!  We were in shock and my husband was a nervous wreck the whole time.  We bought two pre-cut cars from you.   One car did ok.  The other car came in first in every race except the last when it came in third. We maintained the track record and got the second place trophy.  Many thanks.  Colleen J

This is my sons first year in cub scouting ,also his first pinewood derby experience ever, and I just wanted to drop you a quick thank you and tell you how awesome your products are. My son picked out the pre-cut pick up truck and camoflauge body skin along with the standard wheels and axles. I let him do most of the assembly and I applied 5 coats of laquer .He won first place in the tiger den ,first place overall for his entire pack, and second in districts for the tiger cubs and sixth overall at districts. Your products allowed my boy to have the most memorable first derby experience and I just wanted to say thank you.We will buy from you again, sincerely...,Chris R
